I highly recommend the X-GRIP because it is light weight, sturdy, and at a good price. The X-grip allows me to get really creative angles and shots that are impossible to get hand held. This grip is extremely useful for everyday use and I plan on using it all the time.

I bought the X-Grip for camcorder use. It was shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition. I appreciate the simple, uncluttered, straightforward design which was executed with quality materials. First I ordered this tripod on Amazon.com and it arrived right on time. It qualified for free shipping which was great, the box weighed 20 lbs.

I felt like I was taking a bit of a gamble when I ordered this tripod. There is not much info out there on Ravelli and the APGL4 tripod is a new product. I am really happy with what I recieved. There is no plastic on this thing anywhere. The pistol grip head alone would usually cost more than this whole setup. Fantastic! -Pull the Trigger! A Newbie of sorts to dSLR photography. If you dabble in photography as I do or if your a Pro you already know that it is not cheap. I was looking for a quick release for my tripod so I went to a local camera shop in town and discovered the "Pistol Grip". It offers quick release for my dSLR. Phenomenal motion/movement when needed and when it's not needed, it's good and solid. The asking price at the local camera shop in my area was $80.00. I found this gem on Amazon for ~$29.00. It's pretty much the same one they had at my local camera shop. It's built out solid materials. It even has a leveling bubble on top of the trigger handle to boot. It's super easy to put on your existing tripod and even easier to operate. Just pull the trigger and aim your camera. Once you find the spot you want release the trigger and your ready to take a picture. Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger on this purchase, you wont regret it!

The legs are a 3-Segment Interlocking Crutch-Type design with a mid-level spreader providing oustanding stability for Video Cameras up to 27lbs. The legs utilize large ergonomic lock adjustment knobs and rubber feet for stability. Interchangeable heads connect to the legs using a standard 75mm bowl with a separate lock adjustment providing pan and tilt adjustment in addition to the head. The head features continuous drag fluid movement for 85°/+90°tilt range and +360°pan range 75mm bowl. There are independent locks for both the the pan and tilt axis. The camera secures to the head using a quick release video plate with a separate safety latch to prevent slideoff. The carry bag is large enough to hold the legs, head and spreader and is included for your convenience.

Highly recommend to buy from this trusted store.

Buy it - don't think twice. If you get this and really feel some need to spend $500-$1000 more for Italian names and similar performance, then sell it. I am very happy with the tripod and the head. Some have complained about stiffness in the head. For me it's just right. By the way, those unhappy have cleaned the inside of the head and then been very happy with it.
