First I ordered this tripod on Amazon.com and it arrived right on time. It qualified for free shipping which was great, the box weighed 20 lbs.
I felt like I was taking a bit of a gamble when I ordered this tripod. There is not much info out there on Ravelli and the APGL4 tripod is a new product. I am really happy with what I recieved. There is no plastic on this thing anywhere. The pistol grip head alone would usually cost more than this whole setup. This is a absolutely killer-value tripod. The quality of the components are great, and compares nicely to other tripods from name-brands costing 4-5 times more. Some minor nit-picks on the assembly/packaging, but I could not get myself to deduct a star for it: Some screws are a bit loose, and one of the rubber feet was MIA upon arrival. However, CheetaMounts promptly (same day) sent out the missing part! I will most definitely be buying more ravelli (and other) products from CheetaMounts in the future.
